- Crash happens a second or two after the splash screen

- Crash occurs after OnCreate exits in MainAcitivty, even if every other statement is commented out (except call to the base constructor)
- Tested on Xamarin Android emulator, Nexus Lollipop and KitKat
- Tested on physical device (HTC Desire 320)
- Same crash can occur in "WorkingWithMaps" project but usually only after a few minutes of running
- Tested with and without a Google Play account
- Tested with Maps 1.4.4 and 1.5.0.6404-pre3
- Tested with Visual Studio 2015 Community and Xamarin Studio
- Tested with up-to-date Android SDK
- Tested on Windows 8.1 (apparently no issues on OSX)
- Windows Phone build does not have this crash (iOS not tested)
