On Xamarin.Forms, I'm trying to create an Image custom renderer. Right now, I'm working on creating the custom renderer for Android, which based on the documentation it needs to inherit from ImageRenderer. When working on Xamarin.Android, when you create a class which inherits from ImageView you have access to a public method called SetScaleType, but since my Xamarin.Forms custom renderer on Android inherits from ImageRenderer it doesn't have access to the methods on a regular Android ImageView class.
How can I create a Xamarin.Forms custom renderer that uses the ImageView for Android?
