Hide tabbar on push

Hi,

I have the following code:

` var tabbedPage = new TabbedPage ()
{
Children =
{
navigationPageBrowse,
navigationPageUploads
}
};

        MainPage = tabbedPage;`

On the Browse page I have another button which pushes a new Page (PageRenderer). I would like this page to have no tabbar. Using the 'HidesBottomBarWhenPushed' isn't possible since it is too late to set it in the ViewWillAppear.

How can I make the tabbar hidden?
