Searchbar = fullscreen in landscape on android, How do i prevent this?

I have a view that contains a listview with a searchbar in the listview header. When in landscape focusing the searchbar the search "field" desides to go fullscreen. Is there anyway a custom renderer can stop this? Thank you!
